Landis+Gyr signs 100 million € contract to complete E.ON’s Advanced Metering Infrastructure in Sweden
E.ON Sverige is completing its Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) with Landis+Gyr. E.ON Elnät AB and Landis+Gyr AG from Switzerland have signed a 100 million Euro contract on an advanced metering system for 390,000 metering points. The cutting-edge solution includes a six years operations contract for the delivery of meter readings and will be delivered as a turnkey project, permitting automated meter reading by June 2009.

Odense Energi (Denmark) continues with advanced metering rollout with Landis+Gyr Enermet
Odense Energi A/S in Denmark will expand their advanced metering solution to cover all of their 72,000 customers. Landis+Gyr Enermet (LGE) and Odense Energi are continuing their cooperation by signing a contract on a turnkey delivery of Enermet AIM system for the last 30,000 metering points. The agreement is based on a turnkey project of the Enermet AIM system.

Norwegian Kragerø Energi chooses Enermet AIM
Kragerø Energi has decided to invest advanced metering system for all of its 8600 customers in the South-eastern Norway. The utility has signed a contract with Landis+Gyr Enermet on Enermet AIM.

Landis+Gyr Enermet provides Staffanstorps Energi with full service AMM solution
Landis+Gyr Enermet (LGE) have signed a five-year full-service contract regarding an AIM advanced metering solution with Staffanstorps Energi AB from South-Western Sweden. The project will be completed by summer 2008 when all of Staffanstorps Energi’s customers will be within Automatic Metering Management (AMM).

Syd Energi (DK) expands its Enermet AIM for advanced metering
Landis+Gyr Enermet and Syd Energi continue their cooperation in advanced metering in Denmark. The companies have signed a contract on expanding their Enermet AIM Metering Management solution of 156 000 metering points with additional 90 000 metering points as a turn-key delivery.

Texas-based TXU Electric Delivery to purchase 400,000 Automated BPL Meters
TXU Electric Delivery, the regulated transmission and distribution business subsidiary of TXU Corp., has signed a landmark agreement with Landis+Gyr, manufacturer of state-of-the-art advanced meters, to purchase 400,000 meters with broadband over power line (BPL) capabilities in 2007.

Landis+Gyr Earns Measurement Canada Sealing Accreditation
Measurement Canada, the governing body which administers and enforces the Electricity and Gas Inspection Act, the Weights and Measures Act and is responsible for regulating and safeguarding the accuracy of trade measurement throughout Canada, today granted accreditation to Landis+Gyr for the verification of electricity meters. Today’s approval allows Landis+Gyr to audit, verify and seal meters on behalf of Measurement Canada at the company’s Reynosa, Mexico facility.

650’000 Landis+Gyr meters for Sweden's largest AMM system
In Sweden, Landis+Gyr will supply about 650,000 electricity meters for the new Automated Meter Management (AMM) system of the energy supplier Fortum. The contract is part of the largest Swedish AMM project, comprising some 835,000 metering points, which is scheduled for completion in 2009.
